A traditional Old Beijing style hotpot lunch. I was fed enough food to choke a horse. Everything from mutton and beef and seasonal greens, to mushrooms and bean curd, mildly sweet yoghurt with crushed nuts and seeds, and other dietary no-nos. The pots are cloisonne with copper inserts. Unlike other regional styles of hot pot, Beijing style means each diner gets their own.
